Role Overview :
Account Managers at Biborg are responsible for the management of client accounts from a project delivery perspective. Reporting to the Head of Production (Project Management) and the Client Lead (Account Management), they work closely with them on a regular basis. Account Managers should be perfectly confident in interacting with clients, making and delivering presentations and recommendations. They should also have no qualms about working under pressure. Amongst other responsibilities, Account Managers should have strong interpersonal skills allied with the ability to negotiate and sell Biborg products and services. Naturally well organised, Account Managers should be able to manage multiple accounts/projects simultaneously and need to be good with financial data to report on the status of their accounts.
Key Responsibility - Account management :
. Understand clients’ requirements and needs and be able to advise on the best
creative solutions when it comes to using our product or services.
. Develop and grow client relationship thanks to excellent project management skills. Build a trustful relationship and establish yourself as a key creative and strategic partner.
. Generate more projects and revenue from your clients account by positioning
yourself and Biborg as a key creative and strategic partner.
. Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries while anticipating any
. Act as the first point of contact for client questions and requests and be able
to digest clients’ briefs to align with their vision of success while building
inspiring and successful creative campaigns.
. Handle objections/feedback from clients and be autonomous in any decision
making to drive your project through.
. Build and maintain relationships with clients often through regular face to
face contact and meetings.
. Grow your creative vision and understanding of Biborg’s products and services
to give all relevant information for our internal creative teams at any point
during your project.
. Have excellent oral communication skills and be able to deliver presentations
in client meetings as well as respond to any feedback/comments.
. Have excellent written and visual skills when it comes to client presentations.
. Manage Client budget and achieve targets.
. Report to Client Lead to align on business development strategy.
Project Management :
. Be independent in the management of your project and creative resource - from
brief to delivery, the account manager at Biborg should be able to organise,
inform, and deliver their project in full autonomy.
. Be able to create and inform functional specifications on any kind of project.
. Be able to infuse your creative vision to drive the best results/ be able to
challenge your creative team to aim for top quality standards.
. Create and maintain all project related documentation throughout the project
lifecycle (Zoho, Paymo, blueprint, follow-up documentation etc…).
. Report to Head of Production to align on trafficking management
. Be clear, concise and precise when communicating with all members of the team
involved on your project.
. Write and send minute reports after key meeting to key stakeholders.
. Have strong attention to detail and make sure every documentation is following the internal brand guidelines/templates.
. Understand media specs, digest them (follow-up doc) and be able to identify
potential ways to optimise any given media plan.
. Deliver projects on-time and on-budget.
. Analyse performance and produce reports.
. 3-5 years of proven work experience as an Account Manager or relevant sales
. University or College degree/diploma in Media, Marketing, Business, Project
Management or related field
. Proficient with Google Suite tools and CRM/finance tools (e.g Zoho)
. Understanding of sales principles and ability to deliver excellent customer
experience and strong project management
. Strong (verbal and written) communication skills with an ability to build
. Effective presentation and negotiation skills
. High degree of professionalism with strong attention to detail
. Excellent time-management skills with a problem-solving attitude
. Advanced knowledge of products and services sold to clients
