Paris Poppy Chic - Elise Chalmin

The first of two major international digital campaigns created by Bourjois' new agency, Biborg, has been launched this spring. Bourjois is partnering up with young designers for their collections, creators who are not only talented but are strong social influencers. The stylists were chosen based on their ability to inspire the brand’s customers to create their own looks. Bourjois is especially aiming for those who are digitally-savvy and passionate about all things fashion, beauty and lifestyle.

The 2017 Spring Look, Paris Poppy Chic, comes courtesy of designer Elise Chalmin. A graduate of the London College of Communication, Elise is well known for her work with textiles, updating styles with prints she designs herself, and for her eye for colour. The brand specifically chose Elise for the project because of her unique sensibility and expertise in colour coordination. For the collaboration, a palette of 4 eye-popping colours, fresh and natural, with a touch of brash were created.

In collaboration with Stereoplane (sound design), Dune (video production), B.O.X Production (colour grading), Hector Albouker (Director) and Audrey Krawczyk (photographer), Biborg created a series of 7 videos and 12 photos for this international campaign. The videos included a teaser film, launch film, product focused videos and a fun/ quirky "Insta" portrait of Elise Chalmin. The photographs were a mix of lifestyle images, portraits and still life product shots.
