EXODUS: Or how we went to space
Wizards of the Coast teamed up with Biborg for their next title: EXODUS, a new take on space opera as an action-adventure RPG in a futuristic world.
Ever since their announcement in 2023, EXODUS has been building on its universe, showing a glimpse into the game's world and its main character Jun.
But one thing was highly anticipated and demanded by the community: a bigger gameplay reveal, which was revealed at the 2026 Future Game Show!
Our objective? Maintain the momentum and build upon the hype.
But first, we had to plan the Journey
Our primary goal was to capitalize on the full gameplay reveal to drive wishlisting. To achieve this, we prepared an extensive ecosystem of assets to populate a vast amount of touchpoints.

We crafted and globally localised content across the board:
- EXODUS social media channels
- Platforms socials (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox)
- Storefront platforms (Steam, the PlayStation Store, Xbox)
- And the overarching media campaign itself.
For this, we produced two distinct pre-roll trailers.
The first one focuses on a holistic overview, pulling you into the universe and showcasing what the game is about: from the high stakes of saving humanity, to forging emotional connections with companions, all while showing the beauty of EXODUS.
The second highlights the depth of the combat gameplay, showing off an ancient gauntlet, an adapted gun, and Traveler’s tools from explosives to melee weapons.

EXODUS social channels & storefront
We produced a batch of assets for EXODUS's owned channels and storefronts, including the PlayStation Store and Steam.
These assets were localised in different languages: English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian and Chinese.
Recognizing the power of community, we crafted bespoke assets for a dedicated Discord campaign, which supported Wizards of the Coast's overarching wishlist communication strategy.

The media Campaign
We supported the momentum of the Future Game Show by rolling out a widespread wishlist media campaign across the US, UK, France, and Germany, deploying assets across YouTube, Meta, TikTok, Reddit, and Discord.

Across all these formats, we carefully balanced showcasing the deep, action-packed mechanics with the game's rich, narrative-driven universe. Because, really, who wouldn’t want to become a Traveler?
