Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble

Context
We are thrilled to have worked with Oh Bibi for the first time on the return of the galaxy's most famous Lombax with the announcement of Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble.
The cult series is being adapted to mobile in the form of a fast-paced, free-to-play arena shooter. We got the chance to support this icon by creating the reveal trailer and a UA campaign to introduce the game to fans.

Challenge
The franchise was at a pivotal moment: after four years without a new title, fans were eagerly awaiting news and speculations were high about what would come next.
Announcing a mobile game, something the community wasn’t necessarily expecting, required us to be extremely clear about the nature of the project from the start.
The priority was to set the right expectations while reassuring players that they would still find the universe they loved, with the same level of visual quality and gameplay depth they associated with the franchise.

Our Approach
We imagined our campaign around the codes of mobile games, for it to be clearly identifiable. We created the trailer around the idea of highlighting the fast-paced nature of the game. We had the opportunity to work on all aspects of the trailer, from conception to the motion design but also the gameplay capture.
It was important to stay as faithful as possible to the game experience by translating it into high-quality gameplay sequences that would help clarify what the game is for fans of the franchise.
For the UA campaign, we produced 20 videos, each one uniquely crafted using highly granular player insights to ensure every version felt truly distinct. Each asset was designed to spotlight a different facet of the game: fast-paced action, narrative immersion, duels, strategy, collectibles, exploration, and more. To achieve this, we fully immersed ourselves in the game to create gameplay sequences that were both impactful and deeply aligned with what motivates each player segment.
