Riot Games teamed up with Biborg to craft the branding and visual identity for Valorant's "VCT EMEA FINALS" in Barcelona.
Our objective was to create a distinct, culturally rooted, and highly impactful brandings that captured the essence of the host city as well as the stakes of the event.

Shattered into greatness
For Barcelona, we drew heavily from the city’s architectural heritage, specifically the visual language of Trencadis, the iconic mosaic technique formed with broken ceramic pieces.
We designed a logo composed of shattered shards to reflect the raw energy of the competition and the unpredictable, fragmented nature of play at the highest level. Just like the teams and pivotal moments defining the tournament, individual elements come together to form a bold, cohesive composition. This disruptive, high-stakes energy was further amplified by customised backgrounds bearing the rallying cry: “DESTINO DE CAMPEONES” (Champions Destiny).
For the key visual, we collaborated with an illustrator to place Miks, the newest character introduced to the game, and Clove at the center of the piece. Nodding to Clove’s essential role in Miks' backstory, we fractured their abilities into stunning Trencadis-inspired fragments, ensuring the visual felt as sharp, unpredictable, and decisive as the Masters Finals themselves.
